Is my meeting being recorded?
No. There is no recording, anywhere. Nuggt turns speech into text on your own computer as the meeting happens. The sound itself is never saved, never uploaded, and never sent to anyone. Most tools in this category send your audio to a server. We cannot, because we never built the pipe.
Nothing joins your call either. No bot, and no extra name in the participant list.
What that does not do is handle consent for you. Telling people they are being assisted by AI is still yours to do, and in some places it is required.
So what does leave my computer?
The words, as text, and only while the meeting is running. Nuggt has to read what is being said in order to answer a question mid-meeting, so the conversation reaches us as text over an encrypted connection. It reads the whole conversation, not just the last thing said.
We do not keep it. The transcript lives in our servers' working memory for the length of the meeting and is gone afterwards. If you want to keep your transcripts, there is a switch for that — and it stores them encrypted on your own computer, never with us.
Connect Notion and Nuggt will search it mid-meeting. Notion sees what it searched for — the question, and a few rewordings of it. Nothing more.
Will my meetings train an AI?
No. We do not train models on your content, and we do not let anyone else.
Reading the conversation and writing the answers takes an AI provider, so we use a small number of established ones, and only ones whose own terms commit them not to train on what is sent through their API. Today that is OpenAI. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.
What do you keep, and why?
As little as the product can work with. Nuggt keeps the facts worth remembering, the answers you were shown, and your meeting notes. That is the memory the product runs on. Without it every meeting would start from nothing, and Nuggt would have nothing to tell you.
There is no audio here, and no saved transcript — unless you choose to keep transcripts, in which case they are stored encrypted on your own computer, not on our servers.
Every word of your meetings is encrypted, twice over — once by the database, and again by us.
Can my colleagues see my meetings?
No. Your meetings are yours. Every meeting, note and answer is scoped to the person who recorded it. Sharing an organization with someone does not give them a way to open your meetings.
Intentional sharing is on the list below. It will work the way you would expect: something you choose, meeting by meeting.
Can I get rid of it?
Yes, whenever you want. Delete a meeting from your history in the app and everything from it goes: your notes, the answers, and the facts Nuggt remembered from it.
